The Terror: Infamy - 2x10 - “Did something happen tonight? In the war?”
the dawning realization of this gif set is so chilling
The Terror is an amazing show. The second season revolves around Japanese-American characters imprisoned in internment camps during WW2. The cast and crew is almost entirely Japanese-American, and the credits of the final episode include a long tribute to their family members, including many who were interned. Some members of the cast themselves lived through the internment camps, including George Takei. On the surface The Terror is a supernatural horror show, but in the end most of the fear comes from the very real terrors of racism in America.
Now that internment camps are back, shows like these are more important than ever.
